A little less womanly…

Nia got spayed today. Here’ s the kids loving on her. She slept for about 2 hours and had chills so the kids covered her with blankets and petted on her. She’s doing better but still hasn’t eaten anything.

awww how sweet. Just be careful sometimes dogs can be a little snappy under anesthetic. Just watch her.

Yeah–Nia hasn’t been snappy at all, I think she’s just out of it. We left for a while tonight and when we came back she hauled herself to the door wagging her tail, but it was short lived, lol. She’s sleeping again. I have made sure the kids don’t overwhelm her though.
Your kids and Nia just melt my heart…..over and over again!!
I love the doggy blanket btw! And the look of compassion on smallest one’s face….OMD!! Your kids are going to grow as compassinate and caring souls who will forever have an empowering connection to animals.
Hope sweet Nia is feeling better soon. She’s been through so much but has also gained so mich by having her forever home with you!
